Buddy the Elf is the main character of the 2003 movie Elf, played by Will Ferrell. He is a human who was accidentally transported to the North Pole as an infant and was subsequently raised by Santa's elves. As an adult, Buddy discovers he is human and journeys from the whimsical North Pole to the bustling, cynical world of New York City to find his biological father, bringing his unshakeable Christmas spirit, innocent perspective, and love for all things sweet to a world that desperately needs it.
