The Lizard, formerly Dr. Curtis Connors, is a tragic adversary in Spider-Man: The Animated Series. After attempting to regrow his missing arm using reptilian DNA, the brilliant scientist undergoes a monstrous transformation into a powerful, cold-blooded creature. Driven by primal instincts and a desire to turn all of humanity into reptiles, he struggles against his own lost humanity. This duality creates a recurring conflict for Spider-Man, who must defeat the beast without harming his friend.
