Samson was a hero in the Bible, specifically in the Book of Judges. Known for his God-given superhuman strength, tied to his uncut hair as part of a Nazirite vow. He fought the Philistines, performing feats like killing a lion bare-handed and slaying 1,000 men with a donkey’s jawbone, as well as lifted and carried the gates of Gaza. But he was undone by his weakness for women—Delilah betrayed him by revealing his secret. Captured, hair cut, and blinded. Once his hair started to grow back, he later brought down a Philistine temple in his final act, killing himself and many of his enemies. This statue represents Samsons final moments!
